blah

I'm tired of moving. Kelly and I moved to our apartment on July 1st and this past week have been helping my parents move. We've decided that we are never going to move in the summer months (esp, in Texas) again. It's way too hot!

We've been super busy and I haven't been able to work on to many of my goals...poo. And I've been thinking. (Kelly says: which is never a good thing, haha). I'm trying to decide what to be when I grow up...I guess I better decide soon since I'm 26 already. I've narrowed it down to two directions (I think). One is to continue to do medical ins/billing and eventually find a company that will let me work at home with hours of my choice so I can be a stay at home mom, but can also earn some mulla...The other idea, is to run a day care in my home (when we own our own house), which would also allow me to be a stay at home mom, etc. Both have advantages and disadvantages....I know I would like billing/ins because that's what I do know...but I think owning a day care could be fun too. Guess I have to do some research.

I'm hoping to update more frequently when everything gets a little bit more settled...well, bed time for me now. Ttyl.

Working towards my goals.

I decided that I need to post anytime I've completed a goal or part of a goal on this blog to help keep track. At least, this way I feel accomplished!

My plant is still alive (got it Feb 1st, 2010)
This is my second blog
I have written a couple entries in my journal
I'm on page 77/1343 of the Bible
I've started reading the 2nd book of Wheel of Time series
I ate breakfast 5 times last week

Some of the others I'm still needing ideas for. Like what poems I should memorize, what contest I should enter. hmmm....

Anywho, bedtime now, I'll keep you posted. :)

50+ Goals in 3 years

While my friend, Amy, was browsing the web she found a site that listed "101 goals in 1001 days" and since we were both bored at the time, we both decided that we should make a list. Unfortunately, I (with the help Amy and a couple of our friends) could only come up with 51 goals for me. I'm sure I'll think of more to add to the list later, but I think 51 goals in three years is a good amount to start with. I don't want to feel overwhelmed or anything. :)

Funny story:
One of my goals was to write 30 blogs in 3 years because I've always wanted to start a blog, but never really knew where to go. So I asked, "is there any good blog spots?". They laughed, "in fact, there is. It's called "blogspot.com". I responded, "did i actually say blog spot? and there is a website called blogspot, how funny". Well, I laughed...it's probably one of those things you have to "be there" kind of thing.

So here is my first post out and I'm going to end it with my list of goals.

~Ashley
